GEMA contributed to the conception of the “Museu Mineiro” in São Pedro da Cova, northern Portugal.
Through various installations such as a hologram explaining the daily life of miners, a looped animation depicting work and conditions within the mine, a projection showcasing the operations within the mine trestle, and an interactive touch screen providing the mine’s history and information on miners searchable by name, nickname, date of birth, place of birth, and profession, GEMA helps to honor the region’s significant mining legacy.
