The Ponte 25 de Abril Interpretative Center is now open to the general public and GEMA developed a project that implemented technological solutions for the experiences available in the center.
Located on one of the pillars of the bridge, this Interpretative Center has a unique viewpoint located at a height of 80 meters, accessible by a panoramic elevator.
We developed sound and narrative techniques as well as immersive projections to tell the history of the construction of the bridge and honor the 3000 workers involved in this endeavour.
For instance there was a sea hologram located under the hanging scale model of the bridge and a projection of the train, ending the tour with the rise of a panoramic elevator to the observation deck, hanging from the bridge.
